Who runs Woklane
Woklane is operated by ArtTogether International Limited, Hong Kong.
We also operate J-Origin Food — a supply-chain company that sources, inspects, consolidates and exports Asian food.
We’re telling you this on our own page, up front. Not because we have to. Because you would find it in about thirty seconds anyway — and because it is the reason Woklane works at all.
How the two fit together
Woklane is the network. We verify factories and introduce you to them.
J-Origin is the hands. When you ask Woklane to manage an order, someone has to physically walk the line, check the goods against your spec, consolidate the pallet and get the export paperwork right. In China, that is J-Origin. Malaysia is next. More Asian sourcing countries after that.
That is why we can tell you a factory is real before you ever talk to them: someone we work with has actually been there.
A directory cannot say that. A directory is a spreadsheet with a search box. We are not a directory.
How we make money — and when we don’t
Register with a real company, a real phone number and a real email, and you can see the factory’s real details. Then it is your call:
- Contact the factory yourself. We charge you nothing. Not a fee, not a cut, not a finder’s commission. We are out of it.
- Ask Woklane to manage the order. Then we charge a service fee — a percentage of your order, shown to you before you commit.
We do not mark up factory quotes. We do not sit between you and the factory’s price. There is only one way we make money here, and it only happens if you ask us to work.
Why we check who you are
We verify buyers for the factory’s sake — not to gatekeep you.
Factories get approached constantly by people who are not buyers: competitors fishing for specs and prices, brokers with no order behind them. A factory that has been burned by that stops answering everyone — including you. So we ask for a real company, a real phone and a real email before we hand over a factory’s details. That trade is what keeps good factories willing to be found.
What we will not do
- J-Origin is not listed on Woklane, and never will be. It is not a supplier you can buy from here. It is the service layer behind managed sourcing — nothing more.
- J-Origin gets no preferential ranking, placement or introductions. It is not competing for your order.
- We will never make the direct route worse to push you toward our service. Direct is free. That option is real, and it stays real.
